The Plumas County Sheriff’s Office is honored to announce the retirement of Patrol Commander Carson Wingfield after nearly 30 years of exemplary service to our community.
Since joining our ranks in 1995 and graduating at the top of his class from the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Academy, Commander Wingfield has demonstrated unwavering dedication and professionalism. He has progressed through the ranks from Deputy Sheriff to Patrol Commander, contributing nearly 20 years to our SWAT Team and earning two Distinguished Service awards and a Life Saving award.
Commander Wingfield is admired for his leadership, mentorship, and the genuine care he has shown to his colleagues throughout his career.
As he embarks on this new chapter, we express our deepest gratitude for his remarkable service and commitment to the residents of Plumas County. Your presence will be greatly missed, Commander Wingfield.
