Susanville Police Department makes headway on restoring the department’s building after a vehicle was launched into the workout room’s wall back in October.

The city board approved the repairs in November with work scheduled to begin with better weather. City administrator Dan Newton says the driver of the vehicle, who suffered from a medical condition resulting in the collision, had insurance that will reimburse the city for the cost of the repairs.

The construction is being completed by the Kirack team and is expected to be completed within the next two weeks.
