Quincy Student Wins Vocational Award and Scholarship for Diesel Technology Career

Pearce Keller, a senior at Quincy Senior High School, earned the title of 2026 Quincy Area Vocational Technical Center Student of the Year.

Since his freshman year, Pearce has been enrolled in the center’s Diesel Technology program. His consistent dedication paid off when he received a $2,500 Rotary scholarship.

Pearce plans to use this scholarship to continue his education at State Technical College of Missouri. He aims to earn a degree in Diesel Technology.
