Quincy Rotary in partnership with Scout Troop 151, has kicked off a brand-new holiday tradition aimed at sending local youth to camp! Eleven Quincy businesses have graciously offered to “Host a Tree” complete with custom decorations (all kinds of goodies) and YOU are invited to bid on your favorite tree to bring home right after SPARKLE.
Below here just two of the trees located at the Hub and decorated by Feather River College and Waste Management. The FRC tree has game tickets, FRC swag and holiday ornaments. The WM tree’s theme is “family game night” with hot cocoa packets, gift certificates, fun games and yummy treats.
Throughout the week – and during Sparkle – shoppers can place silent-auction bids on each decorated tree. Once bidding closes, winners will be contacted and can pick up their tree or for a small fee, trees can also be delivered by Rotary volunteers.
Participating businesses who really poured their hearts into this fundraiser include Feather River College and Waste Management (at the HUB), Grandma Janes, Quincy Provisions, Rhythm & Grace Dance Studio, The Coffee House, T’s To Go, Rich Bar, Plumas Physical Therapy, Plumas District Hospital, and Plumas Bank.
Give some local love to these awesome business owners and check out these amazing trees while you SHOP LOCAL today and all week!
