Due to the incoming blizzard conditions and unsafe travel, the superintendent of Plumas unified school district Bill Roderick, announced yesterday that the district would cancel school for the day; Plumas Charter School and FRC also decided to close campuses for the day. If classes resume tomorrow, the school district will assess the weather conditions this afternoon.
Plumas county offices will also remain closed for the day.
