Plumas County will hold a public hearing regarding changing the county’s camping and prime opportunity area code.
The Planning Commission held workshops in February and March that discussed camping in Prime Areas and is now looking for your comments on the recommendations to the board of supervisors. The purpose of the March meeting is to hear the public’s thoughts on locations and to take action under the California Environmental Quality Act. The current code was not amended to be consistent with the 2035 General Plan resulting in inconsistencies.
The meeting will be held on March 16 at 10:00 am in the Board of Supervisors room in the Quincy Courthouse.
