If you lost internet and cell service for much of the day yesterday, you weren’t alone. Verizon and Zito serviced homes experienced an outage that started late morning and lasted through the evening hours. Plumas Sierra Telecommunications located a line that had been severed near Johnsville. Repairs to the main line began around noon with service for some returning just after 4pm. The outage spanned from Quincy through Sierra County to Bordertown.
