Over 900 customers are currently experiencing a power outage in the Alturas area due to a damaged power line. According to Pacific Power’s Outage Map, 905 customers along Highway 395, just outside of Alturas, are affected.
The outage was first reported at approximately 3:14 p.m. on Monday. Pacific Power has notified crews to address the issue, and they estimate that power service will be restored to all affected customers by 6:30 p.m. on the same day.
