Portola will look to the city’s finance officer to temporarily fill the vacant city manager role.
Today, April 10, 2024, the council will consider approving Susan Scarlett for the interim position on a six-month basis. The agreement would retro date to begin on April 1st and last until September 30th. If the City hasn’t hired a new permanent City Manager by then, this agreement will continue monthly until they do.
The council is set to convene tomorrow, April 10th, at 6pm, and the agenda can be found on the city’s website.
