Plumas County Sheriff’s warns Quincy of increase in vehicle thefts. The sheriff’s are responding by increasing their presence with more patrols in the areas of most concern. The department shared many of the crimes are ones of opportunity as cars that have been broken into have been left unlocked. The Department suggests you can avoid these thefts from happening to you by removing all valuables from your vehicle, taking your keys inside, and locking your doors.
