Collaborative Town Hall Meeting Tomorrow on Forest Work

OROVILLE, CA—The Feather River Ranger District of the Plumas National Forest will be holding a collaborative town hall meeting tomorrow, Wednesday, April 27 from 1:30 to 5:30 p.m. at the Feather River Tribal Health Center, located at 2145 5th Ave. in Oroville.

Ranger District employees have been working to identify the impacts of catastrophic wildfire on the District and considering how to move forward.
The primary purpose of the town hall meeting is to hear and gather public and stakeholder input on what the priorities and future direction of the Feather River Ranger District should be given current conditions.

District employees will be there to talk with anyone wishing to participate at any time between 1:30 and 5:30 p.m. They will discuss work the District is doing, where things are going and plans for the future, as well as to hear thoughts and answer questions from public and partners.
“This is an important opportunity for community members, partners and local stakeholders to have a conversation with our employees about the current and future work on the Feather River Ranger District,” said District Ranger Dave Brillenz.

If there is a specific topic of interest or any questions, please contact Feather River District Planner Clay Davis at [email protected].
