Final Primary Elections results are in for Plumas County with early race leaders holding onto their victory. After a near 1900 ballots were received and counted following election night the Plumas county elections office announced its unofficial final totals. Sheriff Todd Johns defeated challenger Dwight Cline by over 1000 votes; the appointed incumbent for county Assessor Cindie Froggatt holds onto her seat and is now the elected assessor; Tom McGowan will serve as District 3 Supervisor taking victory with a 200 vote lead, and Jeff Engel will keep his seat as District 5 Supervisor taking the lead by a large margin. Over 13,000 ballots were sent to registered voters in the county with just over half of the county participating in this election cycle.
