Seneca Firewise Community seeks to reduce risk of wildfire in your community. The organization is asking the Plumas county board of supervisors for support of their proactive forest fuel treatments. Joe Smailes will present the proposal to the board this Tuesday. The board will also be set to approve a MOU to with CalOES for transfer of ownership and operation over to the county of the temporary housing in Greenville on Wolf Creek Road established as a result of the Dixie fire.
