The Sheriff’s Office will conduct a test at the month’s end, urging community members to register for GEMS and verify their accounts. This advanced system supersedes the outdated Code Red, offering multi-channel alerts through text, email, calls, and social media, customizable notifications, community updates, and a user-friendly mobile app. Even if you were previously on Code Red, it’s strongly advised to create a GEMS account and ensure your information is up-to-date.
