Plumas county is hosting a Wildfire Preparedness Day in May. You can attend at the Plumas county fairgrounds to hear from guest speakers, visit informational booths, learn how to harden your home, and see a wall burning demonstration. The Plumas Fire Safe council and UC cooperative is putting on the event to prepare you for wildfire season. The event is free and will be happening on May 15th from 10am to 2pm.
