A housing consortium aims to come up with creative solutions today to solve the Plumas county housing crisis. A shortage existed before the pandemic and before the Dixie fire. Now the shortage has turned into an emergency. Hosted by the Almanor Foundation and Lake Almanor Area Chamber this evening meeting’s goal is to who bring the people of Plumas together to be proactive in coming up with quick solutions to achieve affordable local housing, with supporting short-term and immediate actions and coming up with long-term solutions.
