The Plumas Board of Supervisors has a full agenda to start the week. Reports from Dr. Loomis with Public health on COVID updates in the county will be heard as well as Dixie fire recovery updates from Dennis Schmidt, and an updates on forest fire management from Plumas forest Supervisor Chris Carlton. The board will also discuss waiving the campground permit fees for the Pioneer RV park, as well as discuss the much debated solid waste rate increase of 7.29 per cent. The supervisor’s last action on this matter was delayed as they were in opposition to the increase amid poor service during and after the Dixie Fire. The meeting will start at 10 am tomorrow at the courthouse in Quincy. You may also attend the meeting virtually live online, or through zoom. Links can be found at CountyofPlumas.com.
