Plumas County and the Rural Community Assistance Corporation (RCAC) invite community leaders, business owners, recreation enthusiasts, and interested residents of the greater Quincy area to join them for the Community Collaborative Convening (C3) for the Quincy / East Quincy Recreation Economy for Rural Communities Plan. The C3 will be taking place at Rich Bar Taproom (60 Main St., Quincy) on Wednesday, February 18, 2026, from 4-6pm. The C3 is an opportunity for the community to come together and reflect on the history of the RERC, learn how the RERC Community Action Plan will be updated this spring, ask questions, and get involved in supporting the local economy and advancing outdoor recreation and stewardship in the American Valley Region and beyond. The main objective of the C3 is to request input on potential projects as the team prepares to update the RERC Plan to continue work in the five goal areas: 1) Recreation, 2) Tribal Collaboration, 3) Downtown Quincy Revitalization and Connectivity, 4) Business and Economic Development, and 5) Workforce Housing and Lodging. To view the current RERC Plan, adopted in December 2022 by the Plumas County Board of Supervisors, please click here or visit https://www.plumascounty.us/3360/Recreation-Economy-for-Rural-Communities. Registration is strongly requested, however, if you forget to register, please still attend. You can register here or email Brianna Swofford (email below). Once you have registered, you will receive a calendar invitation within 2 business days.
