Plumas County, in collaboration with the Dixie Fire Collaborative, is planning upcoming community meetings February 18th through February 27th to discuss the 2021 wildfires long-term recovery plan process. Learn more about the current efforts to develop a countywide long-term recovery plan for the Dixie and Beckwourth Complex fires. Tell use your community recovery Vision and Values. Give feedback on proposed recovery projects and suggest others. What do you want to see in long-term wildfire recovery? Pick the meeting date/location that works best with your schedule: FEBRUARY 18 – 2:00 – 3:30pm – Greenville Elementary School Cafeteria at 225 Grand Street after the Dixie Fire Collaborative community meeting. FEBRUARY 21 – 6:00 – 7:30pm – Chester Memorial Hall at 225 Gay Street, Chester. FEBRUARY 23 – 6:00 – 7:30pm – Quincy Veteran’s Hall at 274 Lawrence Street, Quincy. FEBRUARY 27 – 6:00 – 7:30pm – Sierra Valley Grange at 92203 Highway 70, Vinton. Additionally, Tracey Ferguson, Plumas County Planning Director, will be before the Portola City Council on February 22, 2023, 6pm, to provide a wildfires long-term recovery plan process informational briefing to City residents and the Council.
