Residents in several Portola neighborhoods will experience a temporary water outage Wednesday morning as city crews make repairs to the municipal water system.
The planned shutdown is scheduled to begin at approximately 9:30 a.m. on July 1 while crews replace a water system valve.
The outage is expected to affect customers north of Joy Way, including Cherry Circle, Manzanita Avenue, Rabbit Brush Avenue, Kandy Lane, Lake Davis Road, and Depersia Drive.
City officials say the water will remain off for as long as necessary to safely complete the repairs, with service to be restored as soon as work is finished.
