Power lines are going in the ground around Greenville. PG&E started the project last week near Lower Williams Valley road. Undergrounding a total of 55 miles of power lines throughout Western Plumas County is the goal. The work is being coordinated along with ongoing roadwork to limit delays. PG&E plans to underground 10,000 miles in and near high fire risk areas including critical infrastructure and hospitals by the end of this year.
