PG&E will hold more wildfire safety webinars in the coming weeks. The company has updated its Public Safety Power Shutoff notifications. You will now be getting texts or calls about outages both day and night, depending on when outages may occur. Notifications were previously refrained from sending during evening hours as a courtesy, but a new requirement from the CPUC has changed that. PG&E will hold a webinar on August 30th to discuss these changes and their progress on wildfire prevention efforts, what you can expect to see new this year, and access to more resources to help you prepare for wildfire season and power outages. The webinar will be held from 5:30 to 7 pm next Tuesday. You can access it by visiting the Fire Safety Webinar page at pge.com
