So many donations are pouring in to support victims of the Park Fire that CAL FIRE’s Incident Command (IC) teams in Chico and Red Bluff are saying no more.
Highlighting the community’s efforts to remain resilient and support recovery, the IC team is asking that donations be made locally rather than dropped off at the two HQ locations. Management teams 3 and 4 say they have been appreciative of the support but note they are “self-sufficient.”
If you wish to help these communities re-grow in the aftermath of the Park Fire, you can donate locally to Chico and Red Bluff’s Salvation Army, the Red Cross, and the North Valley Community Foundation.
