Authorities are on a manhunt for an Oregon man with ties to Nevada for the attempted murder and kidnapping of a woman.
The Oregon State Police are searching for 36-Year-old Ben Foster for using dating apps to lure women and victimize them. Foster had previous cases of kidnapping in the Nevada Area. In 2019 he was convicted of holding his then-girlfriend captive in her apartment for two weeks and served two and a half years in prison. His latest victim was found in Grants Pass on January 24th, where she was found bound, “tortured, severely beaten, and unconscious.”
Police arrested 68-year-old Tina Marie Jones in connection with the case for hindering prosecution, helping Foster hide from authorities, and pushing his car off a cliff to aid in his escape from authorities. Police believe he has strong ties to the South Oregon area bordering Modoc county. If anyone sees Foster, you are to contact your CHP or Police Department.
There is a 2,500 reward for his capture.
