PRESS RELEASE: DUI Arrest of Off-Duty Correctional Officer
Over the weekend, a Plumas County Sheriff’s deputy conducted a traffic stop in Quincy and contacted the driver, identified as off-duty Correctional Officer Crystal Gordy. Based on observations, the deputy requested the California Highway Patrol to respond. CHP conducted a DUI investigation and ultimately arrested Gordy for driving under the influence.
Gordy has been placed on paid administrative leave pending the outcome of an internal investigation, in accordance with County and departmental policies.
