If you plan to fly this weekend, there are no major flight cancellations or delays at the Reno-Tahoe International Airport as a massive winter storm impacts much of the Eastern U.S. Many major hubs have had to cancel thousands of flights since Thursday. A Reno-Tahoe International Airport spokesperson said the airport is not feeling any major effects from the eastern storm as many of the airlines have had ample warning leading up to the storm to position flights away from the storm centers. Although you may expect a few delays and cancellations they are nowhere near the scale of the airline flight cancellations seen at east coast airports. Travel disruptions from those hubs running along the eastern U.S. are expected to last through Sunday.
