Fort Sage OHV Area is holding a night race this Saturday. The Bureau of Land Management says nearly 40 motorcycle racers will converge on the area forming 20 teams to race the trails from the hours on 9 pm to midnight. The event is sponsored by the Lassen Motorcycle Club and will have racers completing as many laps as possible in a relay-style race. The race course that starts and ends at the Raptor Trailhead will be limited to the racers only. If you wish to watch you can do so from the pit area at the trailhead. BLM law enforcement rangers and course Marshalls will be available to monitor the race. You can learn more by visiting the Fort Sage OHV area page found at blm.gov.
