Lassen County Public Health is looking to hear what your community is in need of for health and wellness programs. The Westwood Wellness Center will be hosting their grand opening today. Barbara Longo, Lassen County Public Health and Social Services Director shared this is an opportunity to voice what your community is in need of with no opinions and ideas off the table. Some suggestions have included park spaces for walking and relaxation paths. The focus can be on mental or physical health. The center will also host youth programs and help you connect with other medical needs you may have. You can learn more at the grand opening starting at 9am on Berch street in Westwood. Other wellness centers will be coming to the Doyle and Herlong area, as well as Beiber.
