Lassen Lands and Trails Trust continues to highlight the area’s hundreds of miles of trails, announcing the addition of a new spot for you to rest while enjoying the meadows outside of Westwood. The trails trust says New benches have been installed with the help of Mountain Meadows Conservancy at Indian Ole Dam, southwest of Westwood, where you can “take in the views of Mountain Meadows Reservoir along the new 1.5-mile round-trip path.
You can access the new trail by taking SR36W and onto South County Road A21 through Westwood to Indian Ole Dam Rd. or if coming from the other direction, take 36 east to SR 147 to the county road.
