Mountains to Meadows Trailfest: Quincy Gears Up for Exciting New Outdoor Festival

Outdoor enthusiasts and community members in Quincy eagerly anticipate the arrival of the ifirst ever Mountains to Meadows Trailfest, presented by the Sierra Buttes Trail Stewardship (SBTS). Scheduled to take place from September 19-22 at the Plumas-Sierra County Fairgrounds, this four-day event aims to support promises more than a celebration of trails and community spirit, but serves a noble cause as a fundraiser for SBTS’ Connected Communities project.

This ambitious initiative aims to create a 550-mile trail network connecting 15 towns across northern California, including Quincy, Chester, Susanville, and Loyalton.

Proceeds from the festival will support this endeavor, requiring significant community involvement.

The event will feature a diverse lineup of activities. Attendees can look forward to engaging in trailwork, Poker Runs/Rides, hikes, trail runs, and mountain bike adventures. Families will find plenty to enjoy with family-friendly activities and late-night rollerskating sessions. Various food trucks and a beverage garden will keep everyone fueled throughout the festivities.

Live performances from acclaimed bands, including The Scott Pemberton Band, Boot Juice, and the Gold Souls, will also enhance the experience.
