*The Flat fire is now 47.5 acres. Fire personnel are continuing to make progress constructing containment lines with the help of air resources.
*The Mountain fire located NE of Telephone Flat is 25 acres and has crews engaged on the fire line.Additional air resources are on order.
*The Stock fire is 1 acre and crews continue to work on constructing containment lines on the fire.
Additional resources are continuing to respond to multiple fire starts around the Devils Garden area. For your safety and the safety of fire personnel, please avoid the areas of the fires so that fire resources can effectively respond and work the incidents.
The U.S. Forest Service-Modoc National Forest Fire resources are responding to multiple fire starts. The flat fire has resources on scene and is approximately 10 to 15 acres at this time. We will continue to update you here as information comes in from the incidents.
