A town hall meeting is coming to Mt. Lassen Theater presented by the Lake Almanor area Chamber of Commerce. You’ll want to be there to hear from the candidates for the upcoming June election. Candidates for the Plumas County Board of Supervisors for district 3, and both sheriff coroner candidates, Todd Johns, the incumbant, and Dwight Cline, former Plumas County Sheriff Officer, will be there to introduce themselves to the community. You can also hear updates on two ongoing projects and organizations, shawn McKenzie will present the update on the work of the Lake Almanor Foundation and Wendi Durkin will discuss Project 2105, the Cold Water Issue. The Town Hall will be this coming Monday the 28th, from 5:15 to 6pm at the Mt. Lassen Theater in Chester. If you cannot attend in person you can attend virtually two ways, through Facebook live at the Lake Almanor Facebook Page, as well as receiving an emailed link to join the zoom meeting.
