LMUD Welcomes New General Manager, Robby Hamlin

In a recent board meeting on January 23rd, the Lassen Municipal Utility District (LMUD) officially ratified an employment contract with their newly appointed General Manager, Robby Hamlin. With over 30 years of experience in electric utilities, Hamlin is set to assume his role at LMUD starting February 1st, 2024.

Having worked in various capacities at utilities in Mississippi, Nevada, and Texas, including his recent role as Sr. Vice President at CoServ Electric Co-op, Hamlin brings a wealth of expertise. Expressing his excitement, Hamlin stated, “LMUD is a great fit for me, and my wife Deborah and I are eager to be part of the Susanville community.”

Hamlin’s vision for LMUD includes fostering a stable work environment where employees feel valued and recognized. Emphasizing an open-door policy, he aims to engage with the community and prioritize customer needs. Director Jess Urionaguena highlighted Hamlin’s unparalleled experience, knowledge, and background, expressing confidence in his ability to lead LMUD effectively.
