The Pat Murphy Little League fields will soon feel more secure as the City Council has approved the purchase and installation of security cameras. The fields are often victim to crimes such as vandalism and theft due to thier location along the river and off any main roads. Talk of getting the cameras has been in place for sometime yet at last nights City Council meeting the council agreed to making good on the promise to bring secuirty to the grounds. The cameras will be purchased through the city’s risk management fund in the amount of $5,000 dollars. The city will work with the Susanville Police Department to find the best locations for the placement of the cameras. All work will be sourced locally.
