Be prepared to see a heavy presence of law enforcement on the streets this afternoon through Quincy as they escort the FRC volleyball team off to the state championships in Fresno. You can join in on the send-off as well.
The parade to the highway will start at 2 pm at the main campus parking lot and run downtown Quincy then loop around before heading out. The team has had a successful season and boasts a 31-game winning streak, losing only one game to American River College in August this season.
The Golden Eagles are the #2 seeded and are noted as a favorite going into the CCC AA State Championships at Fresno City College. Games will be held this Friday into Sunday.
