Lassen Volcanic Ntl Park Re-Opens Highway Early

Lower than average snow depth in the Lassen Volcanic National Park brings an early start to the reopening of the parks roadways. The main highway has been cleared of snow for use by non motorized traffic from the southwest entrance to Sulphur Works. The park will continue to prioritize road access to Warner Valley and then Juniper Lake for Dixie Fire recovery and repair efforts before moving forward with additional park roads at the southwest entrance for your access.
