Lassen Volcanic NP and Partners Launch Lassen Resilience Campaign

Funds raised will assist the park’s recovery post-Dixie Fire

The Lassen Association and the Lassen Park Foundation have joined forces with Lassen Volcanic National Park to showcase the park’s resilience in the aftermath of the Dixie Fire.
The two nonprofit park partners, in collaboration with Lassen Volcanic leadership, have created the Lassen Resilience campaign, pooling their fundraising expertise to bolster the park’s recovery efforts both in the immediate wake of the fire and over the long term.
To kick off the campaign, the nonprofit partners have commissioned artist Jake Early, a Chico native, to create a limited edition, original silkscreen print featuring Lassen Peak and a mosaic wildfire burn. The run of 500 signed prints and a small number of artist’s proofs will be for sale on the Lassen Association website and at the Lassen Association’s store at Kohm-yah-mah-nee Visitor Center beginning Nov. 15. Net proceeds from sales of the print benefit the park’s fire relief and education efforts.
The Lassen Park Foundation will auction off a framed artist’s proof and limited edition prints at its annual Peak Experience Auction, to be held virtually on Nov. 13; the livestream begins at 6:30 p.m. The Foundation web page also contains a link for print sales.
