Cannabis in Lassen County gets another revisit at the Lassen County Board of Supervisors meeting this Tuesday. Supervisor Albaugh has requested time for a presentation on illegal grows in Siskiyou County by Congressman Doug LaMalfa’s Office. The board will also hear an update on the cannabis business tax and administrative tax lien collection in Lassen County, as well as holding a discussion on indoor marijuana cultivation. These will be presented to the board starting at 10 am. The Lassen County Fish and game commission will also present a letter that has been addressed to the California Fish and Game commission to deny the petition by the Humane Society to ban bear hunting in California. The letter states false data and its interpretation by the Humane society as the board reasoning to urge the commission to deny the petition. The Supervisors meet beginning at 9 am for public commenting in which you may address the board with matters not on the agenda. They will reconvene at 9:30 following closed session.
