The Lassen County Board of Supervisors has a packed agenda this week filled with two public hearings and multiple presentations.
The supervisors will be considering amending multiple titles to the county code about the County Surveyor as well as approving an application for a county permanent local housing allocation estimated at over 600,000 dollars. This would help those in the county who earn 60% or less of the median income for the area with 10 categorized uses including affordable and workforce housing and services to people experiencing or are at risk of homelessness.
Lassen County Health and Social Services are working to develop a housing and services project with a development planned in Susanville.
