The Lassen County Supervisors take their monthly meeting on the road this week, heading up to Westwood. Tomorrow the Supervisors will meet at the Westwood Wellness Center, which is also a topic of discussion. The center is applying for a grant for updates to support the community’s needs. The supervisors will also have a visit from Lassen National Forest Supervisor Deb Bumpass, giving a report on Dixie Fire post-wildfire forest restoration activities, as well as signing letters of support for Highway Safety Improvement Program applications for funding for projects on Eagle Lake Road, Herlong Access Road, and Johnsonville-Center Road that would possibly require a match of Transportation Development Act funding. Lassen county fair manager Kaitlyn Midgley will deliver a report on the success of this year’s fair. The supervisors will amend the county ordinance of title 8 regarding vicious dogs. The meeting begins at 10 m, at the Westwood Community Center.
