Lassen National Forest Looking for Camp Hosts for Upcoming Season

SHARE NOW

Camping season is just around the corner, and the Lassen National Forest is looking for outdoor enthusiasts to become one of their Campground hosts. The season spans from May into September, and you would be responsible for greeting campers and taking care of the campground of your choice. Other duties you would be responsible for include answering campers’ questions, upholding campground rules, helping with litter pick-up, restroom cleaning, raking, and campsite cleaning.

The Lassen National Forest will provide you with uniforms, tools, supplies, and any training necessary to serve in the campgrounds. You’ll also get a free campsite, and at certain locations, you may receive free propane refills and a daily reimbursement in exchange for their service.

To learn how to become a Campground Host or request more information, call the Alamnor or Hat Creek District Offices.
