Lassen Municipal Utllity District announced today that during the September 23rd regular board meeting, the Lassen MUD board of directors will receive a 14401 report from the District’s General Manager, Nick Dominguez, detailing a three-year rate adjustment proposal.
The proposal is the first step in setting a public rate hearing where the board will review and discuss options regarding the three-year plan. “These hearings are designed to inform, engage, and listen,” said Dominguez. “Public input guides the Board in making decisions that reflect our community’s needs and values.”
The General Manager’s 14401 report is required by the Municipal Utility District Act, which governs LMUD and how the District operates. The public is encouraged to attend the meeting, which will be held on Tuesday, September 23rd at 5:30 p.m. in the LMUD board room located at 65 S. Roop.
