Lassen Humane Society announced that in February the $150,00 grant period that was received from UC Davis will have concluded. This grant was the main source of funding for 2024, which allowed the Lassen Humane Society to achieve such a large number of procedures. These numbers tell them there is a great need in our community for financial assistance to have as many pets spayed and neutered as possible to reduce unwanted litters and colony sizes. The future of this program depends on fundraising efforts and stressed that Lassen Humane Society really need help from the community to achieve these goals.
