Lassen High School sent three wrestlers to compete at the California Interscholastic Federation (CIF) State Wrestling Championships in Bakersfield, California. Wrestlers Dathen Moore, Quentin Maumoynier, and Marley Smith represented the school in the tournament, facing strong competition from across the state.

Moore and Maumoynier competed throughout the event but did not place on the podium. Their qualification for the state championships followed victories at the Northern Section Championships and advancement through the CIF Masters Tournament.

Marley Smith achieved a notable result by finishing in sixth place, becoming the first female wrestler from Lassen High School to earn a state placing. Smith’s performance marks a milestone for the school’s girls wrestling program.

The participation of all three wrestlers reflects the continued development of Lassen High School’s wrestling program and its presence in state-level competition.
