Lassen High School is set to host a one-day Correctional Officer Hiring Workshop in partnership with the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation. This event aims to streamline the CO hiring process, potentially reducing it by up to four months.
Attendees will have a unique opportunity to meet with a Career Coach, take the written exam, and complete live scan fingerprinting, all in one day. Meaning they can kickstart the background process right away.
The high school will hold the hiring event on Saturday, September 9th.
Physical fitness requirements are no longer mandatory until reporting to the academy, making it even more accessible for interested candidates.
Signing up for this free event grants participants access to Virtual Orientation Sessions. Helping them prepare for success at the Hiring Workshop and increasing their chances of securing a position with the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation.
