The fire safety council has initiated a request for proposals for qualified contractors.

Project implementation is set for this fall season, with additional work planned for spring and fall next year.

Interested parties can contact LFSC at 530-250-4449 or [email protected] before September 12, 2023, for details.

Proposals are due by 5:00 p.m. on September 21, 2023, either in person at 1825 Main Street, Susanville, CA, or by mail to PO Box 816, Susanville, CA, 96130. Successful bidders will work closely with the US Forest Service Lassen National Forest, which will provide guidelines and burn plan specifics.
