Lassen Fire Safe Council Heads to Big Valley for June Monthly Meeting

SHARE NOW

The Lassen Fire Safe Council (LFSC) is offering a rare opportunity for North County. The council will hold its June General Meeting in Big Valley.
At the June 14th meeting, you can learn about the Firewise program, fuel load reduction, reforestation grants, and home hardening strategies against wildfires.
The LFSC is looking to help the community establish a Firewise community in Bieber, offering benefits and participation opportunities.
For those interested in the Firewise USA® program, LFSC representatives can assist in organizing and planning the program for your community, including conducting a wildfire risk assessment, developing a three-year action plan, and completing annual educational and risk reduction actions.
The Resident Leader can apply for recognition through the Firewise® Portal, and sites must renew their status annually.
For assistance or more information, reach out to LFSC representatives, and attend the LFSC’s June General Meeting to learn more and be part of these important initiatives on June 14th at 5:30 in Beiber.
