Lassen County’s Board of Supervisors has a light agenda this week. You can attend to hear as the board will discuss the approval of a rezone of about 640 acres of lands into an agricultural preserve that would place these lands under the Williamson Act, a land conservation contract. If the board approves the rezone and initiates a Williamson Act Contract the county could have potential revenue losses. The board will also set their annual salaries and hear an update on the Estill Ranches LLC groundwater exploration activity. The meeting is tomorrow starting at 9am at the Board of Supervisors Chambers at 707 Nevada street in Susanville.
