The Lassen County Office of Education, in partnership with the Lassen County Fairgrounds, invites students and families to participate in the 2026 Lassen County Student Showcase, taking place on May 2, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the
Lassen County Children’s Fair.
This annual event highlights student creativity, innovation, and achievement through a wide variety of projects and displays. All students are encouraged to participate and share their work with the community.
The Student Showcase features multiple entry categories, including Art Projects, Creative Writing & Poetry, History Projects, Science Projects, Teacher’s Choice, Vocational Education, and Woodworking. These categories provide opportunities for students of all interests and skill levels to demonstrate their talents and academic growth.
A special class project category will celebrate this year’s fair theme: “Celebrating America – 250 Years of Red, White, and You.” Class entries will be judged using American standards and must reflect the theme through an art medium. Premiums will be awarded to participating schools.
The event serves as a platform to recognize student achievement while fostering creativity, critical thinking, and community engagement. Families, educators, and community members are encouraged to attend and support local students.
