Are you ready for Halloween?! Susanville Best of Broadway, brings to you, Frightmare at the Fair! October 27th thru 31st at the Lassen County Fairgrounds from 6pm – 10pm, offering a ‘NO’ Scare option from 6pm – 7pm each day. Pre-Sale tickets are available for $8-$10 at Margie’s Book Nook, Forest Office Equipment and Lassen County Chamber of Commerce.
Every Bloomin Thing and Gift Shoppe will be holding a Harvest Succulent Centerpiece Workshop, Friday, October 28th from 5:30pm – 7:30pm. Create a magical artpiece for your harvest table! These stunning pumpkins are adorned with a range of colors and textures including succulents, dried/silk flowers, berries, pinecones, and moss. The Susanville Symphony 2022-2023 Concert Series brings to you An Evening of Jazz, Friday, October 28th and Saturday, October 29th at 7pm, Veterans Memorial Hall. Sentimental Journey’s 2nd Annual Craft Fair in the Barn will be Saturday, October 29th from 10am – 4pm and Sunday, October 30th from 10am – 3pm located at 465-320 Church Street in Janesville. This event will have New Vendors, One of a Kinds Items, Halloween, Fall, Christmas, Food and Gifts.
Historic Uptown Susanville Association brings their annual Safe and Sane Halloween, Monday, October 31st from 3:30pm – 5:30pm. Live entertainment, dance performances, pet costume contest, children’s costume contest and loads of candy! This event is free to the community. Susanville Best of Broadway is holding auditions for their 2023 concert series, “Decades of Dreamers”. Auditions are open to all ages 6+ and all genders and skill levels, come prepared to sing a chorus of a song of your choice and allow an hour and a half for audition process. Susanville Sunrise Rotary presents their 19th Annual Beer and Wine Tasting at the Jensen Hall, Saturday, November 19th. Tickets are $35 per person which includes delicious appetizers and a commemorative glass, also offering a silent auction, no need to be present to win. Lassen Senior Services will be holding their 9th Annual Turkey Trot, Thursday, November 24 at 8:30am, located at 1700 Sunkist Drive in Susanville. The course is 3.1 miles and there will be prizes for best costumes and largest family group! Donations of non-perishable food or cash are appreciated, lets fill the pantry for our low-income seniors. Lassen Hoops will be opening registration! Online sign ups will run from October 24 – November 18th and can be accessed at http://clubs.bluesombrero.com/lassenhoops. In person sign ups will be Wednesday, November 2nd and Tuesday November 15th from 5:30pm – 7:00pm at Susanville Pizza Factory. 3rd thru 6th grade boys and 3rd thru 8th grade girls are eligible to register.
